Farrell is in favor of reducing regulations and taxes, the Second Amendment, "attract[ing] new higher education institutions" (particularly a private college), and opposes the war on drugs and "nanny laws designed to protect adults from themselves."[1]

Farrell ran in the 2012 election for Nevada State Assembly, District 10. Farrell ran unopposed in the June 12 primary election and was defeated by incumbent Joseph Hogan (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3][4][5]
