Ramirez ran for election to the Deaf Smith County Court.
Primary: He was defeated in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 5.2 percent of the vote. He competed against D.J. Wagner, Major Barela, Luis Zamora, Dennis Detten, Christopher Trusty and Ron Muller. [1][2][3]
