General: She defeated Mike Lee (Dallas County, Texas) in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 53.9 percent of the vote. [1][2]

Montgomery ran unopposed to the Dallas County Court at Law at law in the Republican primary. She defeated John Goren in the general election, winning 52.01% of the vote.[3]
