The Alabama Bonds for Dock Improvement, Amendment 1, also known as Amendment 1, was on the ballot in Alabama on November 30, 1965, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed to amend the constitution. The amendment proposed that the state would become indebted up to $3 million through the sale of interest-bearing general obligation bonds for the purpose of improving the Alabama state docks.[1]
