Alfred C. Harrell
Alfred C. Harrell was a judge on the Denver County Court in Colorado.[1] He joined the court in 1985.[2] Harrell retired from the court in 2016.
Education
Harrell received his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado in 1966 and his J.D. from the University of Denver School of Law in 1971.[2]
Career
Before joining the court, Harrell was an attorney in private practice.[2]

Elections
2012
Harrell was retained in the general election on November 6, winning 75.87 percent of the vote.[3]

Judicial performance evaluation
The Second Judicial District Commission on Judicial Performance announced its recommendations for judges up for retention in 2012. According to its website, the commission evaluates judges based on the following criteria: integrity, legal knowledge, communication skills, judicial temperament, and administrative performance.[4]
Judge Harrell was recommended for retention by an unanimous vote. [2]
