Alyce Hailstone Farrell is a judge for the Lackawanna County Magisterial District in Pennsylvania.[1] Farrell was first elected to the court in 1997, and was re-elected in 2009 for a term that was set to expire in 2015.[2][3] Alyce Hailstone Farrell won the general election on November 3, 2015.

Education

Farrell earned her B.A. in communication arts from Marywood University in 1989 and her J.D. from the Penn State Dickinson School of Law in 1992.[4]

Hailstone Farrell was re-elected without opposition to the Lackawanna County Magisterial District in 2015. Pennsylvania's general judicial election was held on November 3, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates was March 11, 2015.[5]

2013

Farrell ran for the Lackawanna County Court of Common Pleas.[6] She cross-filed in both Democratic and Republican primaries and was defeated in both, receiving 24.3 percent of the Republican vote and 24.6 percent of the Democratic vote on May 21, 2013.[7]
