Arkansas Supreme Court affirms ruling in national class action lawsuit
March 25, 2010
Arkansas: The Arkansas Supreme Court has affirmed Miller County Circuit Court Judge Kirk Johnson's ruling in a class-action lawsuit that found major insurance companies guilty of cheating policyholders. The companies Foremost and Chubb appealed to the state Supreme Court saying that judge Johnson did not have the jurisdiction to rule as he did, but the Supreme Court ruled otherwise.[1][2]
