Education
Peebles earned her B.A. from Washington University in 1982 and her J.D. from American University's Washington College of Law in 1986.[3]
Career
Before her judgeship, Peebles worked as a drug court commissioner, an assistant circuit attorney and as an assistant city counselor. She was also a law intern with Internal Revenue Service.[3]
Suspension
On August 31, 2012, Peebles was suspended with pay from the 22nd Circuit after The Missouri Commission on Retirement, Removal and Discipline recommended her removal from the bench. Her attorney said that they would appeal to the Missouri Supreme Court. She was later suspended without pay for six months, beginning in March 2013.[3][4]
