Benjamin Lerner was a judge on the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania.[1] Lerner was first appointed to the court in 1996 but failed to win a 10 year term in 1997. After the 1997 election, Lerner was appointed to another seat on the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas. At the end of his second appointment Lerner was elected to a 10 year term in 1999 and retained in 2009.[2] He retired from the bench in 2019.

Lerner earned his undergraduate degree from Brandeis University and his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.[3]
