A Blanchard Township Current Expenses Tax Levy Replacement question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Hardin County, which is in Ohio, where it was defeated.
This question would have authorized the township of Blanchard to impose a replacement property tax levy of 1.8 mills ($1.8 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for five years in order to fund the current operating expenses.[1]

Language on the ballot:
| “ | A replacement of a tax for the benefit of Blanchard Township, including the Village of Dunkirk, for the purpose of current operating expenses at a rate not exceeding 1.8 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to eighteen cents ($0.18) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2013, first due in calendar year 2014.
