Blanche Hill-Fawell was a judge of the Eighteenth Circuit in Illinois.[1] She joined the court in 2002 as an associate judge, and was elected circuit court judge in 2008.[2] She was retained in 2014 for a six-year term.[3] Hill-Fawell retired from the court in 2016.[4]

Hill-Fawell was retained to the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit Court with 79 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [3] 

Evaluations

The Illinois State Bar Association and participating attorneys rated Blanche Hill-Fawell as Recommended for retention in a 2014 poll.[5]

Education

Hill-Fawell earned a B.A. from American University in Washington, D.C., going on to receive her J.D. from Loyola University in Chicago. She was admitted to the bar in 1980.[6][2]
