Bob Lake
Bob Lake (Republican Party) was a member of the Montana Public Service Commission, representing District 4. He assumed office on January 7, 2013. He left office on January 4, 2021.
Lake (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Montana Public Service Commission to represent District 4. He won in the general election on November 8, 2016.

Lake previously served in the Montana State Senate, representing District 44 from 2011 to 2013, and was a member of the Montana House of Representatives from 2003-2011.
Biography
Lake was born in Ronan, Montana, and grew on a farm with his parents and five siblings. Following high school, he served for two years in the U.S. Army. After returning to Montana, Lake married then worked at a local feed mill in various capacities before eventually purchasing a feed plant and founding Lake Milling Inc. He sold the business in 2000 when he began to pursue a career in state government.

Lake was elected to District 4 of the Montana Public Service Commission in 2012 and was sworn in on January 7, 2013. He was re-elected on November 8, 2016.[2]

Lake represented District 44 in the Montana State Senate from 2011 to 2013.

Bob Lake was not able to file for re-election due to term limits.
2016
Lake ran for re-election to his District 4 seat on the Montana Public Service Commission. He was unopposed in the Republican primary. Three Democrats filed to run against him, including former commissioner Gail Gutsche, whom Lake defeated in the last general election.[1] Gutsche won the Democratic primary election on June 7 and the two competed for a second time in the November 8 general election.

2012
Lake ran for District 4 of the Montana Public Service Commission in 2012. He defeated Jim Pearson and Chris Greil in the Republican primary on June 5, 2012 and defeated Democratic incumbent Gail Gutsche in the general election on November 6, 2012.[3]
