My name is Brian Wolk, and I’m running for School Board to restore excellence, accountability, and transparency to our schools. As a parent, small business owner, and technology professional, I’ve built my career solving complex problems — it’s time to bring those skills to our education system. I believe in strong academics, fiscal responsibility, and keeping politics out of the classroom. Our schools should be centers of learning, not social experiments. Parents deserve a voice and a seat at the table. I will fight to protect parental rights, ensure tax dollars are spent wisely, and focus our schools on preparing students for success through core academics, STEM opportunities, and career readiness. The future belongs to students equipped with real-world skills, not political rhetoric. I’ll stand up for families, students, and taxpayers — and get results.
  • Parents are the primary stakeholders in education. I will fight to ensure families are informed, involved, and respected. Schools should partner with parents — not work against them. That means full curriculum transparency, strong communication, and policies that support parental rights. Our students succeed when families and schools work together.
  • Our schools must refocus on what matters most — reading, math, science, and real-world skills. I will push for expanded STEM programs, academic rigor, and policies that ensure every student is prepared for the jobs of tomorrow. Political agendas have no place in the classroom — education must be about opportunity, not ideology.
  • As a small business owner, I know how to stretch a dollar. Our schools need leaders who safeguard tax dollars and demand results. I will push for transparent budgets, efficient spending, and elimination of waste. Every dollar should go toward improving student outcomes — not bureaucracy or pet projects.
I’m passionate about policies that improve educational quality, safeguard parental rights, and promote fiscal responsibility. That includes expanding STEM opportunities, increasing transparency, and ensuring schools deliver results without wasting taxpayer dollars. I believe in safe, focused learning environments free from political distractions. Outside of education, I support policies that promote economic opportunity, small business growth, and government accountability at every level.
I’d recommend Common Sense by Thomas Paine. Government at all levels should serve the people, not the other way around. Schools exist to educate students, not to promote agendas or bureaucracy. We need a return to straightforward, practical leadership that respects families and taxpayers.
An elected official should be honest, accessible, and focused on results. Personal integrity, accountability to the public, and the ability to make tough, data-driven decisions are essential. We need leaders who will listen to the community, respect parental rights, and prioritize core responsibilities over personal or political agendas.
I’ve had to fight for everything — my future, my reputation, my place in this world — and I don’t back down. You’ll hear tough things when you look into me, but what you’ll really see is that I never quit. I know how to survive, adapt, and outwork anyone standing in my way. That’s exactly what I’ll bring to this school board. I’m not here to protect the status quo — I’m here to challenge it. If you expect business as usual, I’m not your candidate. If you want someone who knows how to fight, how to take hits and keep pushing, I’m the one you want in your corner.
The core responsibility of a school board member is to ensure students receive a high-quality education in a safe, respectful environment. That includes setting policies that support academic excellence, overseeing the budget to prevent waste, protecting parental involvement, and holding the system accountable. Board members must ensure schools focus on teaching real-world skills and preparing students for success.
The primary job is to set policies that ensure students succeed academically while keeping schools accountable to the community. That includes hiring effective leadership, ensuring wise use of taxpayer funds, maintaining safe schools, and respecting the rights of parents and families.
My constituents are the families, students, taxpayers, and staff within our school district. That includes parents with children in public schools, residents who fund the system, and those whose future depends on the quality of education we provide. Every voice matters, whether they have children in school or not.
We support diverse needs by focusing on high standards for everyone — regardless of background. That means ensuring academic excellence, promoting real-world skills, expanding technical and career opportunities, and providing safe, distraction-free classrooms. Teachers and staff need clear support, resources, and accountability to succeed.
I’ll engage directly with parents, educators, civic groups, small businesses, and community organizations. Building partnerships with local employers, faith-based groups, and STEM advocates can create more opportunities for students. Regular town halls, open-door policies, and active communication will keep the community connected.
Good teaching delivers real academic growth, prepares students for the future, and maintains high standards. We measure this through student achievement, subject competency, graduation rates, and readiness for careers or higher education. I support teacher training, technology integration, and expanding STEM and technical programs.
We need expanded STEM education, technical training, and career-readiness programs. Apprenticeships, partnerships with local industries, coding, robotics, and trade skills should be part of our curriculum. Preparing students for real-world success means offering pathways beyond just college.
Proper funding starts with efficient budgeting and eliminating waste. I’ll push for transparent spending, prioritize classroom resources, and advocate for partnerships with businesses or grant programs to expand opportunities. Every dollar should be directed toward improving education, not bureaucracy.
Safety is non-negotiable. Schools must have clear, consistent security policies, respectful environments, and zero tolerance for violence, bullying, or discrimination. Physical security, mental health resources, and strong leadership all play a role. Students can’t learn if they don’t feel safe.
Supporting mental health starts with safe schools, clear expectations, and access to resources. I support practical mental health programs, partnerships with community services, and ensuring staff and students know how to seek help without stigma or red tape.
I will fight for policies that expand academic rigor, increase curriculum transparency, and protect parental rights. I support eliminating political agendas from classrooms, improving technical and career programs, and holding the district accountable for spending and performance.
Students thrive in safe, focused, academically rigorous classrooms. My ideal environment emphasizes strong reading, math, science, and technical skills without political distractions. Schools should be welcoming, structured, and equipped to prepare students for higher education, careers, or technical trades.
The pandemic exposed weaknesses in our system, from lack of transparency to learning loss. In the future, we must prioritize keeping schools open, ensuring parental choice, and providing clear, honest communication. Education should never be sidelined by politics or poor planning again.
I believe parents are the most important partners in education. I will advocate for curriculum transparency, frequent communication, and parent input in key decisions. Families deserve respect, not barriers, when engaging with the school system. Schools must work with parents, not against them.
We must recruit professionals who are committed to academic excellence, student success, and community values. I support targeted hiring practices that focus on qualifications, merit, and a clear dedication to education — not politics. Competitive pay, safe work environments, and strong leadership attract quality staff.
Financial transparency is non-negotiable. Taxpayers deserve to know exactly how their money is being spent, especially when it comes to education. I will fight for clear, accessible budgets, open communication, and strict oversight of district spending. Waste, inefficiency, or hidden expenses have no place in our schools.
