Two Cardinal & Kirtland School District Levy Addition measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the Cardinal and Kirtland district areas which are in Geauga County. The Kirtland school district is also in Lake County and the Cardinal school district is also in Trumbull County.
Both measures were defeated
The Cardinal measure sought to add to the current school levy by a rate of 4.5 mills for a further three years in order to help pay for emergency requirements as needed in the school district.
The Kirtland measure sought to add to the current school levy by a rate of 4 mills for a further five years in order to help pay for emergency requirements as needed in the school district.[1]
