A Carefree Council Term Limits Question was on the March 8, 2011 ballot in the town of Carefree, which is in Maricopa County.
This measure was approved
- YES 724 (65.28%)
- NO 385 (34.72%)[1]
This measures, known as proposition 421, sought to enact term limits for town council members. The supporters of the measure saw it as a better way for citizens to get more involved in the government.[2] This measure was brought forth by a council member who sought to have greater resident involvement.[3]
