Carmel Valley Town Council Elections, Measure H (November 2009)
A Proposed Town of Carmel Valley Town Council Elections, Measure H ballot question was on the November 3, 2009 ballot for voters in the Carmel Valley Master Plan Area in Monterey County, where it was defeated.
Measure H was only relevant if Measure G, which was on the same ballot, was approved. Measure G, which would have resulted in the incorporation of a new "Town of Carmel Valley," was defeated. This rendered Measure H moot. If Measure H had been relevant and had been approved, it would have meant that the town board members of the hypothetical Town of Carmel Valley would have been elected "by district" rather than "at large."[1]
