Charles W. Hardin is a district court judge for the 25th District Court, which presides over Clark and Madison counties in Kentucky.[1] He was appointed to the court in July 2009 by Governor Steve Beshear when William G. Clouse Jr. was elected to the Kentucky Circuit Courts in a special election.[2]

Hardin was later retained by voters in 2010 to the unexpired portion of Clouse's term and re-elected without opposition in 2014.[3]  His four-year term expired on January 6, 2019.[4]

Education

Hardin received his undergraduate degree from Eastern Kentucky University. He went on to earn his J.D. from the Salmon P. Chase School of Law.[7]

Career

At the time of his judicial appointment in 2009, Hardin was the Madison County assistant attorney. He previously worked as an attorney with the firm Marc Robbins Law Office.[7]
