Chris G. Perez is a judge of the Thirteenth Judicial District Court in New Mexico. He was appointed to the court by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham on February 28, 2020.[1]

Perez was a 2014 candidate for the Thirteenth Judicial District Court in New Mexico.[2]

General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 48.1 percent of the vote. He competed against Cheryl H. Johnston. [2] 

Education

Perez earned his undergraduate degree from Loyola Marymount University in 1993 and his J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1996.[3]

Career

Prior to his judicial appointment, Perez worked as an attorney in private practice with 17 years of experience.[3]
