The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 25, 2014. Incumbent Elizabeth Crowley defeated Christine Lachapelle-Miller in the Democratic primary. Daniel Bidondi ran as an independent candidate. Crowley defeated Bidondi in the general election.[1][2][3]
