A City of Compton Fireworks Ban, Measure F ballot question was on the April 21, 2009, ballot for voters in the City of Compton in Los Angeles, California, where it was defeated.
If Measure F had been approved, it would have added a new Section 1704 to the city's charter, which would have said, "Section 1704. Ban on Fireworks. It shall be unlawful for any person to possess, store, offer for sale, expose for sale, sell for retail, use, discharge, or explode any fireworks within the City of Compton."
