A City of Galt Appointed Clerk, Measure C ballot question was on the November 4, 2014 election ballot for voters in the city of Galt in Sacramento County, California. It was defeated.
Measure C would have made the position of Galt City Clerk an appointed position rather than an elected one.[1]
Supporters said this would save the city money by removing the necessity of an election item for the position of clerk and by consolidating the duties of city clerk and the clerk administrator.[1]
