A City of Gilroy Municipal Election Dates, Measure E ballot question was on the November 4, 2008 ballot for voters in the City of Gilroy in Santa Clara County, where it was approved.
Measure E made it so that the municipal elections for the City of Gilroy are held in each even-numbered year (starting in 2010), consolidated with the timing of the county's general elections.

MEASURE E: "In order to consolidate with the countywide elections and to help reduce the City's election costs, shall the Charter Section 1400 be amended to provide that the City's general municipal election shall be held in each even-numbered year commencing with the year 2010 and extending the existing Council terms by one year?[1] |
