Colette Y. Garibaldi is a former judge of the O'ahu First Circuit of Hawaii. She was nominated in 2010 by Gov. Linda Lingle and served until her retirement in December 2018. [1][2][3]

Education

Garibaldi received her undergraduate education from the University of Southern California and her J.D. from Loyola Law School.[4][5]

Career

Garibaldi served as a circuit court judge from 2010-2018. Before becoming a circuit court judge, Garibaldi served as a judge in the district court, first on a per diem basis from 1988-1997 and then on appointment. Her district court seat was filled by Dean E. Ochiai. She also worked for six years as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney and briefly as an attorney in the private sector.[4][6]
