Colombian Re-Election Referendum, 2010
The Re-Election Referendum was proposed in Colombia in 2010, but did not appear on the ballot because it was ruled unconstitutional by the Constitutional Court in a 7-2 vote on February 26, 2010.[1] The referendum was designed to allow Colombian President Álvaro Uribe to seek re-election for a third consecutive term.
