Thirty-five U.S. Senate elections were held on November 3, 2020. The following chart compares the number of votes received by presidential candidates Joe Biden (D) and Donald Trump (R) to the number of votes for each state's respective Democratic and Republican senatorial candidates.[1]
- Biden outperformed Democratic Senate candidates in Nebraska, Maine, and Louisiana, by a percentage difference of 27.0%, 22.5%, and 15.8%, respectively.
- Trump outperformed Republican Senate candidates in Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Delaware, by a percentage difference of 19.2%, 11.4%, and 7.5%, respectively.
- Biden underperformed Democratic Senate candidates in Montana, Alabama, and Mississippi, by a percentage difference of 10.7%, 8.0%, and 7.0%, respectively.
- Trump underperformed Republican Senate candidates in Maine, South Dakota, and Nebraska, by a percentage difference of 14.6%, 5.7%, and 4.7%, respectively.

The following states did not have Democratic and/or Republican candidates in every congressional race and were excluded from the following analysis:

- Florida
- Illinois
- Massachusetts
- Mississippi
- North Carolina
- New York
- Rhode Island
- Tennessee
- Virginia
- Washington
Among the states with Democratic and Republican candidates in every congressional district:
- Biden outperformed the Democratic U.S. House candidates in Louisiana, North Dakota, and Nebraska, by a percentage difference of 16.3%, 15.9%, and 13.9%, respectively.
- Trump outperformed the Republican U.S. House candidates in Hawaii, Vermont, and West Virginia by a percentage difference of 23.7%, 20.9%, and 5.9%.
- Biden underperformed the Democratic U.S. House candidates in Maine, Montana, and West Virginia, by a percentage difference of 7.5%, 6.9%, and 4.5%, respectively.
- Trump underperformed the Republican U.S. House candidates in South Dakota, Maryland, and Nebraska, by a percentage difference of 20.9%, 5.2%, and 5.0%.

Eleven states held gubernatorial elections on November 3, 2020. The following chart compares the number of votes received by presidential candidates Joe Biden (D) and Donald Trump (R) to the number of votes for each state's respective Democratic and Republican gubernatorial candidates.
- Biden outperformed the Democratic gubernatorial candidates in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Indiana, by a percentage difference of 84.0%, 46.5%, and 24.8%.
- Trump outperformed the Republican gubernatorial candidates in West Virginia, North Carolina, and Delaware, by a percentage difference of 9.1%, 6.4%, and 5.3%.
- Biden underperformed the Democratic gubernatorial candidates in North Carolina, Montana, and West Virginia, by a percentage difference of 5.5%, 2.5%, and 0.4%, respectively.
- Trump underperformed the Republican gubernatorial candidates in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Washington, by a percentage difference of 75.2%, 34.2%, and 9.9%, respectively.
