When President Kennedy was shot I was 10 and I remember watching the news and the funeral on television with my family over several days..
I started babysitting at 10 years old and did that until I was old enough to get a job. When I turned 16 I worked in an accountant's office, entering business checks onto paper spreadsheets. I worked there for a year before I started as a salesperson at Bloomingdales in Stamford. I continued to work at Bloomingdales throughout high school, and then continued during college breaks.
