Craig Trebilcock

Craig Trebilcock is a judge on the York County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. He was elected in 2011 to a term that expires in 2022.
2011 election
Trebilcock won both parties' primaries on May 17. He received 27.1 percent in the Democratic primary and 27 percent of the vote in the Republican primary.[1] He was elected to one of two open seats in the general election on November 8. Trebilcock received 51.1 percent of the vote.[2]

Campaign statements
Trebilcock said as judge he would work to establish a York County Veterans Court to address veterans charged with nonviolent crimes and suffering from substance dependency or mental health problems.[3]
The court would help veteran offenders get their lives back on track and become productive citizens, he said.[3]
He also said on his campaign website that: "Being a judge is about making sound decisions. I learned that skill in the military."[4]

Education
Trebilcock earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1985.[4]
Professional career
Trebilcock has served as the pro bono counsel on the U.S. Supreme Court for Mr. Albert Snyder in his case against the Westboro Baptist Church. He has served a judicial clerk for the U.S. Department of Labor administrative appeals judges. He has worked as a prosecutor and private practice attorney for 24 years.[4]
