Daniel Minera
Daniel Minera is the former at-large representative on the Cincinnati Public Schools school board in Ohio. First elected in 2013, Minera lost a re-election campaign in the at-large general election on November 7, 2017.
Biography
Minera was born in Guatemala, raised in Miami and attended Miami-Dade County Public Schools. He attended the University of Cincinnati for the Emergency Medical Services program. Minera is the Director of Hispanic Outreach for City Gospel Mission as well as the Pastor of Outreach for Amigo Ministries. He has four children who attend public schools.[1]

Four of seven seats on the Cincinnati Public Schools Board of Education in Ohio were up for at-large general election on November 7, 2017. Three incumbents sought re-election. Incumbents Melanie Bates and Ericka Copeland-Dansby and newcomers Ryan Messer and Mike Moroski defeated incumbent Daniel Minera, former candidate Marcia A. Futel, and newcomers Jacqueline Amos, David Brenner, Gary Favors, Christine Fisher, Renee Hevia, Kareem Moffett, and Kathy Young.[2][3]
