David Alalof

David Alalof is the District 1 representative on the Columbia County Board of Education in Georgia. He won in the general election on May 24, 2016.[1]
Biography
Alalof earned his bachelor's degree in sociology from Augusta State University. He is the president emeritus and founding partner of ACHS Insurance Group. Alalof has also served as the president of the Shield Club of CSRA, Inc. since 2008. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army.[2]

Three of the five seats on the Columbia County Board of Education were up for general election on May 24, 2016. There was no primary. No incumbents filed for re-election in 2016. David Dekle and Lee Ann Meyer ran unopposed for the board chair and District 4 seats, respectively. David Alalof defeated Eric Lewkowiez for the District 1 seat.[1]
