David Gillborn is a British legal scholar and professor. As of June 2022, he was the Emeritus Professor of Critical Race Studies at the University of Birmingham School of Education and the editor-in-chief of the journal Race Ethnicity and Education. According to his faculty page on the University of Birmingham's website, Gillborn's areas of interest include race inequalities in education, especially the role of racism as a changing and complex characteristic of the system.[1]
