David T. Emerson was a judge of the Douglas Superior Court in Georgia.[1] He was first elected to the court in 1990.[2] Emerson resigned from the court on December 31, 2021.[3]

Education

Emerson earned his B.S. in math from the University of Georgia in 1973 and earned his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1976.[2]

2010

Emerson competed against Sonya Compton and Jennifer L. Knight in his bid for re-election.[6] Emerson won with 53.7 percent of the vote.[7]
