Sonya Compton ran for judge on the Douglas Circuit of Georgia.

2010 election

Compton competed against David T. Emerson and Jennifer L. Knight in the general election.^[1] Compton earned only 30.1% of the vote, compared to Jennifer L. Knight's 16.2% and David T. Emerson's 53.7%. ^[2]
