Deborah Oakes Evans is the judge of the 87th District Court in Texas.[1] She was re-elected in 2014, effective January 1, 2015, for a term that expires on December 31, 2018.[2]

Evans has formerly served an internship with the U.S. District Judge Walter Smith, Jr., was an associate at Potter, Minton, Roberts, Davis & Jones in Tyler, Texas, and was the Assistant General Counsel of TCA Management Company.[4]
