Two Delta Village Fire Levy Renewal measures were on the August 7, 2012 ballot in the village of Delta which is in Fulton County.
Both measures were approved[1]
Both measures sought to renew the current taxes which are both set at a rate of $.05 per $100 of assessed value for a period of five years in order to further pay for fire protection services in the village.[2]
Text of measure
The question on the ballot:
| A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Village of Delta for the purpose of fire protection at a rate not exceeding 0.5 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.05 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[3] |
