Diane Weiss Sigmund
Diane Sigmund was a bankruptcy judge for the United States bankruptcy court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She was appointed to the court on October 29, 1993, and elevated to chief judge on April 5, 2004. She retired from the court on April 25, 2008.[1][2]
Education
Judge Sigmund earned her bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University and her J.D. from Temple University.[3]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Judge Sigmund worked as a lawyer at Blank Rome Comisky & McCauley as a member of the firm's Financial Services Group.
Before she retired from the bench, Judge Sigmund was a member of the Judicial Conference of the United States' Committee on Automation and Technology from 1997 to 2004.[4]
