Don C. Nickerson
Don C. Nickerson was a judge for District 5C in Iowa. He was appointed to the bench in 2003 and retired in 2011.[1] Nickerson passed away in September 2017.[2]
Biography
Nickerson earned degrees in journalism and sociology from Iowa State University and a J.D. from Drake University. His experience included service as a member of the board of the nonprofit organization Urban Dreams and work as a U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Iowa and an attorney in private practice with his own firm, Babich & Nickerson.[2]
