Donald R. Hemingsen is a district court judge for the 64B District Court in Michigan.[1] Hemingsen was first elected to the court in 1996.[2] He was re-elected to the court on November 4, 2014, for another six-year term, commencing on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2020.[3]

Primary: He was successful in the primary on August 5, 2014, receiving 61.8 percent of the vote. He competed against Kathleen M. Dunne and Ronald L. Finegood.
General: He defeated Kathleen M. Dunne in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 67.3 percent of the vote. [3][4] 

Education

Hemingsen received his bachelor's degree from Michigan State University in 1972 and his J.D. degree from the Detroit College of Law in 1978.[2]
