Eastwood & Fostoria School Bonds Issues (November 2009)
There were three Eastwood & Fostoria School Bonds Issues on the November 3 ballot in Wood County for voters in those school districts.
A bond would have been set up for the Eastwood Local School District and the Fostoria City School District. The Eastwood bond would have been in the amount of $2.64 million. It would have been paid over 38 years and would have been used by the school district to construct new facilities and maintain those already in use. The Fostoria district had two bond measures on the ballot, one was for $2.76 million that would have been paid over 28 years and used for constructing new school facilities. The other bond was in the amount of $.04 million, also paid over 28 years but would have instead go towards improving facilities that are already in use.[1]
