Ed Scharf was a 2012 Green Party candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 23rd Congressional District of Texas.

Scharf was defeated by Democratic candidate Pete Gallego on November 6, 2012.[1]

Scharf ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Texas' 23rd District. He ran as a Green Party candidate. He ran against Pete Gallego (D), Jeffrey Blunt (L), and incumbent Francisco Canseco (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2]
