Edward C. Kropp, Sr. is a judge on the Montgomery County Magisterial District in Pennsylvania. He was elected to the court in 2009 and his term was set to expire in 2016. Kropp succeeded Judge John Durkin in the position.[1][2] Edward C. Kropp, Sr. won the general election on November 3, 2015.

Education

Kropp attended the Reading Municipal Police Academy.[3]

Career

Prior to joining the court, Kropp was a detective with the Borough of Pottstown Police Department. In this capacity, he also served with the homicide unit of the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.[3]

Kropp was re-elected to the Montgomery County Magisterial District without opposition on November 3, 2015.[4]

2009

Kropp was elected to the court in 2009, after running unopposed in the general election. He defeated Councilman Stephen Klotz and G. Michael Shirey in the Democratic and Republican primaries in May.[2][5]
