Edward P. Sowa, Jr.
Edward P. Sowa, Jr. was an associate judge for the Rhode Island Workers' Compensation Court.[1] He was appointed to the court by former Republican Governor Lincoln Almond in 2000.[2] Sowa retired from the bench on June 30, 2015.[3]
Education
Sowa received his undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1966 and his J.D. from the Boston University School of Law in 1969.[2]
Career
Prior to his judicial career, Sowa was a partner with the law firm of Gunning & LaFrazia in Warwick, Rhode Island.[2]
