Seider published a candidate statement in Mid Rivers Newsmagazine:
“ | I am a strong advocate for public education but believe transferring students from unaccredited districts is the wrong solution. Schools should be fixed in their home districts. Patrons and parents moved into and pay taxes to the FHSD for the education of their kids – not another community. If we are required to accept transfer students, the sending district should pay the same tuition as resident students. It is only fair to the FHSD taxpayers to not accept transfer students for less than they are paying. I am supported by school administrators, teachers, maintenance and custodial employees. I am a strong supporter of the fine arts and athletics in the district.
I am currently the president of the Francis Howell School District Board of Education. These last years have been tumultuous but a common sense leadership – focusing on our students, families and patrons – continues to drive the district in the right direction. I have over 20 years of management experience in the information technology field.[7] |

Seider completed a voter guide profile for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch:
“ | What are your top priorities for the district?
Continue to have Francis Howell School District be the top-rated school district in St. Charles County and lead to be the top-rated school district in the state. Lead the public to understand that transferring students from unaccredited districts is the wrong solution. Make sure that any transfer students pay the same tuition as Francis Howell district taxpayers. Why are you qualified to serve in this office? Currently serving as the president of the Francis Howell board with common-sense leadership. Have four children and active in the district. Have endorsement from administrators, teachers, paraprofessionals, maintenance staff and custodians. Listen to parents, patrons and students to solve problems.[7] |
