Eugene R. Wedoff was a judge on the United States bankruptcy court, Northern District of Illinois. He was appointed for a fourteen-year term on September 16, 1987, and reappointed by the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals in 2001. His term expired in 2015. He served as chief bankruptcy judge from 2002-2007.[1]

Education

Wedoff attended The University of Chicago for his Bachelors Degree, cum laude in 1972 and The University of Chicago Law School for his J.D. in 1975.[1]

Career

Wedoff was on the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges, Secretary and the American Bankruptcy Institute, Secretary and the Advisory Committee on Bankruptcy Rules. He was also a fellow on the American College of Bankruptcy and he was on the National Bankruptcy Conference.[1]
