Fairlie A. Dalton
Fairlie A. Dalton is a housing court judge for the Northeast Division of the Massachusetts Housing Courts.[1] She was appointed to the court by former Governor Deval Patrick on December 24, 2013, and was sworn into office in February 2014.
[2][3] She may serve on the court until she reaches the age of 70.[4]
Education
Dalton received her undergraduate degree from Regis College and her J.D. from Harvard University.[5][6]
Career
Dalton served for 22 years as an attorney for the Neighborhood Legal Services Inc. housing unit, representing low-income tenants in housing court. From 2006 until her judicial appointment in 2013, Dalton served as a first assistant clerk-magistrate of the Northeast Division of the court.[5]
