Franco J. Gobourne is a judge of the Massachusetts District Courts. He was nominated to the bench by Gov. Deval Patrick (D) on August 4, 2010.[1][2]

Gobourne earned his undergraduate degree from the City University of New York, Queens College, and his J.D. from Boston College Law School. His professional experience includes work as an assistant attorney general, a criminal defense attorney for the Committee for Public Counsel Services, and an assistant district attorney for the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office. Gobourne has also served in the U.S. Army, the U.S. Marines, and the Massachusetts National Guard.[1]
