Franklin Babauta (independent) was a member of the Northern Mariana Islands House of Representatives, representing District 1. He assumed office on November 13, 2020. He left office on January 11, 2021.

Governor Ralph Torres (R) appointed Babauta to the position on November 11, 2020, to fill the vacancy left by Edwin Propst.[1]

Biography

Prior to his appointment, Babauta worked as an official at the Department of Public Safety and served in the U.S. Army, retiring at the rank of lieutenant colonel in 2015.[2]
