Garrett J. McManus
Garrett J. McManus is a juvenile court associate justice for the Suffolk County Juvenile Court in Suffolk County, Massachusetts. He was nominated by former Governor Deval Patrick on June 8, 2011, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Paul D. Lewis. McManus was confirmed by the Governor's Council in June 2011.[1][2][3] He may serve on the court until he turns the mandatory retirement age of 70.[4]
Education
McManus received his B.A. degree from Williams College in 1977 and his J.D. from the Suffolk University Law School in 1992.[2]
Career
From 1992 until he joined the Suffolk County Juvenile Court in 2011, McManus worked as a sole practitioner in Essex County, specializing in juvenile law.[1]
