Geoffrey R. German is an associate probate and family court justice for the Hampden Probate and Family Court in Hampden County, Massachusetts.[1] He was nominated to the court by former Governor Deval Patrick on July 23, 2014, and was confirmed by the Governor's Council on September 3, 2014.[2][3] German may serve on the court until he turns the mandatory retirement age of 70.[4]

Education

German received his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1981 and his J.D. from the New England School of Law in 1984.[2]

Career

Prior to joining the court, German maintained a solo law practice in Worcester, Massachusetts, specializing in family law.[2]
