Primary: He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on March 4, 2014.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 45.2 percent of the vote. He competed against Dan Hinde. [1][2][3]

Arnold received a bachelor's degree from Baylor University in 1989, going on to earn his J.D. there in 1992.[4]

Career

At the time of his election, Arnold was a partner at the law firm of Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons in Houston.[4]
