- Excerpt: "The Secure America through Verification and Enforcement Act ( SAVE Act ), H.R. 2000, is immigration reform legislation introduced by Dem Representative Heath Shuler of North Carolina and which imposes increased federal regulatory control over all employment. It represents another step toward suppression of individual liberty and the imposition of a police state."
- The 16th Amendment and the IRS
- Excerpt: "If I’m elected as your Representative to Congress, I will immediately begin working with my congressional colleagues to send an Amendment to Congress repealing the 16th Amendment and abolishing the IRS."
- The Fair Tax
- Excerpt: "A federal sales tax – an excise – is about the simplest form of taxation; and with the advent of computers, offers the least intrusive method for collection, reporting, banking and transfer. It efficiently keeps non-productive administrative costs low for business; and the sales tax is the least objectionable tax because the individual retains the freedom of choice."
